Areas of Expertise

What Brings You Here?

At different points in adulthood, it is common to face challenges that feel confusing, heavy, or difficult to talk about with others. Here are some of the things we work with specifically:

Who Can Benefit From Therapy?

By midlife, many people are balancing career demands, relationships, aging parents, changing roles, and thoughts about the future. It can be hard to make sense of your emotions while still holding everything together. Therapy gives you space to process what this stage of life is asking of you and decide how you want to move forward.

You're in a transitional time in your life, facing new challenges.

You feel disconnected from the people or things you used to enjoy

You feel uneasy and worried about things you can not control.

You want support that goes deeper than surface-level advice

You are seeking self-understanding and growth.

About Our Therapists

Kellie Klinck, LPC-S
Lead Therapist & Owner

Hi there! I’m Kellie, licensed professional counselor and founder of KK Therapy Group. I started KK Therapy Group with one goal: to provide a comprehensive, relationship-focused therapy space tailored to people in the throes of midlife.

My work is thoughtful and grounded in real connection. My approach is shaped by years of clinical experience, ongoing training, and regular consultation, which helps me continue to grow as a therapist and offer care that is both research-backed and depth-oriented.

Our Approach

Tailored, Relational, and Client-Focused Therapy

We offer specialized, cutting-edge services to help our clients move through midlife with less struggle. Whether we’re talking through a hard week or a big life transition, we’ll meet you exactly where you are and help you to move forward. Our therapists are trained and offer person-centered therapy, including:

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Guides understanding of how different parts of yourself react to aging, change, and life transitions, so you can respond with more clarity, self-compassion, and balance.

Attachment & Relationship Therapy

Identifies patterns you learned in close relationships, helping you understand emotional reactions, build security, and create more fulfilling, trusting bonds.

Narrative-Focused Therapy

Explores inner stories carried about aging and the transitions of identity, purpose, and change, helping you reshape them with greater meaning.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction

Brings awareness to the present moment while learning to reduce reactivity. Mindful skills and tools can improve calm, balance, and flexibility during stress.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

Teaches how attempts to control or avoid painful thoughts and feelings can create more suffering, and teaches skills to respond with acceptance, flexibility, and actions guided by your values instead of resistance.

Grief and Loss

A supportive and reflective framework, allowing you to process at your own pace, make meaning of the experience, and gradually adjust to life in a way that still feels connected to what mattered.

Ecotherapy

Based on the belief that interventions, such as walk-and-talk or grounding in nature, provide perspective, stability, and a reminder that growth and transition are natural parts of life.

Depth-Oriented Therapy

This approach helps you face the existential realities of meaning, purpose, aging, freedom, and death directly rather than avoiding them and create a life that feels more authentic and aligned with who you are now.
